Tulsi Kumar Wiki

Tulsi Kumar is an Indian playback singer famous in bollywood. She is the daughter of T-Series music label’s founder and film producer Gulshan Kumar and the sister of the music tycoon Bhushan Kumar.


Tulsi Kumar was born to Gulshan Kumar and Sudesh Kumari in Delhi. She was attracted towards music from an early age. She decided to make a career in music and started singing songs. She also took her music training and since then has been active in this industry. Music is more than a passion for Tulsi. Her voice ensures the fulfillment of her father’s desire to see his daughter emerge to be a singer.

While her brother Bhushan Kumar went on to take the reins of T-Series, Tulsi Kumar took the artistic route and pursued her passion with dedication and devotion to emerge as one of India’s best voices under the guidance of her mother, Sudesh Kumari. From the tender age of six, Tulsi got trained in classical singing at the Suresh Wadkar Academy.

Kumar was introduced into the domain of films by Himesh Reshammiyan. She started her career by singing various songs for movies such as Aksar, Chup Chup Ke, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye and many more. In the year 2009, she released her very first album, ‘Love Ho Jaaye’ which was fairly successful. Her songs “Mujhe Teri” from the movie Paathshaala and “Tum Jo Aaye” from” Once Upon a Time in Mumbai was also a hit.


Tulsi Kumar is single and is not dating any guy. She is looking for her Mr Perfect and said, “Yes I have been busy with my career and work but I think I have to make time for love as well. I am interested in marriage. I would want a partner who may not necessarily be a singer but has to be a lover of music.”
