Kainaz is married to Urvaksh Doctor in a Parsi ceremony on 28 November 2013. They met through common friends and have been in a long distance relationship. Later, they got married and shifted to Singapore.
Before taking a leap towards acting, Kainaz Motivala was originally a journalist and a part-time model. She also taken up a job at a beauty magazine. She has never planned to be an actress and has no formal training in acting. But, abruptly acting happened by chance to her. She played a role of Tanya in her debut film “Wake Up Sid”. She is also seen in the television serial “Kismat” in 2011.
