She had studied in St. Anns high school in Hyderabad. She relocated to Mumbai in 1983 and studied at St. Xavier’s College for two years. She began her remarkable career by making a small appearance in the 1980 film, “Bazaar”. At the age of 14, she played a small role in the 1985 film titled “Hum Naujawan”. Her very first film as a lead actress was “Coolie No. 1”, the Telegu film.

Tabu Hot New Photo Black Dress, Beautiful actress Tabu is making her comeback to Tollywood in upcoming female centric movie ‘Bhagmathi’. It is being directed by Ashok featuring Anushka Shetty in lead role. The makers have signed the actress agreeing to pay a whopping remuneration of Rs 60 lakhs. She will play the cop role in the movie. ‘Bhagmathi’ will be a mystery thriller movie. Tabu was born to Jamal Hashmi and Rizwana, who got divorced soon after her birth. Her mother was a school teacher and her maternal grandparents were retired professors who ran a school. Her grandfather, Mohammed Ahsan, was a professor of Mathematics and her grandmother was also a professor of English Literature. Baba Azmi, who is an Indian film cinematographer is her uncle. Indian film and television actress Shabana Azmi is her aunt. She is the sister of 1980’s Bollywood actress Farah Naaz.
