Sridevi is an Indian film actress, who has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and a few Kannada films. She is regarded as one of the greatest and most popular actresses of Hindi Cinema. She is a member of the Board of Directors at the Asian Academy of Film & Television. Sridevi is also often cited as “The First Female Superstar of the Indian Cinema”. The English Vinglish actress has recently completed her shooting for the upcoming movie ‘Mom’, produced by Boney Kapoor. As per the sources, Sridevi is set to feature in a film which will be produced by Salman Khan. Film-maker Vipul Shah got ready with the script and that has been accepted by Salman’s production. Latest buzz is that Sridevi has been approached for the same.
Sridevi was born to a Tamil father Ayyapan and Telugu mother Rajeswari. Her father was a lawyer, who passed away in year 1991. She has a sister named Srilatha and a stepbrother named Satish.
